And if you’re in SoCal, I have some really exciting news for you, concerning this topic:

1) Cinemark is putting on a Classic Series: they started yesterday and will go on until September 27th, and every Thursday, they put on two showings (2 PM and 7 PM)of an old classic.  You already missed Jaws, but you can still catch High Noon(Aug 30), Doctor Zhivago (Sep 6), Chinatown (Sep 13), The Bridge on the River Kwai (Sep 20), and African Queen (Sep 27).

2) AMC is bringing INDY back!  That’s right, one of the greatest heroes of our childhoods, and – let’s be honest – adulthoods, is back on the big screen, and not in an odd sequel.  Raiders of the Lost Ark will be playing in IMAX Sep 7-13, and on Saturday, Sep 25, they’re putting on a marathon of all four movies for just 25 bucks!
